Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are welcome. We have bags available around the campground for their deposits!
Can I bring a trailer with my ATVs?
Yes, each reservation provides for a camper, vehicle and ATV. Additional items will be stored in the free overflow parking area. Excess vehicles will be charged $10 per night if kept at the camp site.
Is there cable TV?
As of 2017, there is no cable provider in the entire valley.
Can I drive my ATV on the local public roads?
Yes, all county roads are authorized for ATVs.
What are the store hours?
The camp store is open from 9 AM until 5PM Mon-Sat, and Noon to 5PM on Sundays
How far in advance can I reserve a site?
One year.
Are showers available all day?
Yes, guests can use the showers all day, although we close the restrooms at noon for cleaning.Non-guests are welcome to shower for $5.
Is there cell phone coverage at the Highlander?
There is a third party cellular service in the valley. Some places are better than others. Most people can talk and text, but the data is very limited depending on your provider.
